1.
The Music of Life.

The greatest of stories are those from the heart.
So key in the piano for we are at the start.
Or better yet.. the end of where it all began.
I took his hand.. and yes, I ran.
I ran right onto traintracks.. and then right back off.
But on them remained my heart.. but when approached it stopped.
The train stopped in its tracks and maybe perhaps..
it was because, the stength of love is the strongest strength of all.
As long as you dont catch youself when you finally fall.

Natalia, currently standing up at the board presenting a psychology project, stood. Words came out of her mouth but she didnt know what she was saying. She was too focused on...... him. And Suddenly, out of nowhere a bright light shined down from the heavens, the harps charmed and the angels sang as everyone else slowly drifted away.

He was beautiful. Simple as that.
He stood about.. well exactly 5 feet 11 inches tall. His soft brown curls coifed perfectly molding his muscular face. His eyes were something like a dream it felt as if he were looking into your soul.
His demeanor entruiged me.
And I wouldnt let him get away.

I ended my speech with a joke, a joke that which no one got. The whole class just watched.. in pure.. unadulturated.. flat out.. boredum. But wait.. what is that... I must be dreaming.. a clap? No.. multiple claps? Who could possibly be applauding the speech I wrote in 5 minutes in the girls bathroom? So I lifted my sorry eyes... to make sure I wasnt dreaming.. I looked all around the room.. into every single eye. But no one was clapping. I knew it.. I was dreaming......... wait.
It was him.
He was clapping.....
for me.
Why?
Why? I wondered. I just stared at him in cluelessness.. and he stared back and suprisingley.. it wasnt awkward. Not in the slightest bit.

*Bell Rings*
The whole class shuffles sluggishley out of the room. Natalia quickley gathered her things from the podium and headed for her desk. As she approached it she found this boy.. this breath-taking boy... holding her books. She gave him a soft smile as she attempted to take the books from him. He pulled back. With the most intense face youve ever seen he asked, "Where are you going." It took her a minute to even fathom that he was talking to her. She finally got it an answered "English." He took a pause and continued to say,
"After you."

I didnt know if he wanted my books.. or if he was going to carry them to class for me.. but I was happy I didnt have them. My english book has roughly 1000 pages, my math book has aroung 500 and piled ontop of that were binders and notebooks.
So hey.. I was happy I didnt have them.

They entered into the hall. Natalia walking at a steady rate.. the young man following closely behind her. He stopped. For some strange reason she felt it. So she stopped and turned to him. "Problem?"
"What's your name?," He asked.
Whats my name? He stopped in the middle of the hall to ask me my name? He's a weird one I tell ya.
"Whats yours?," I answered.
"I asked you first.," He replied.
"I asked you second," I said, walking closer to him.
"What are we in second grade?" He snapped.
"We might be.. if you cant remember your name.," I cleverly answered.
I felt good, its not too often that I fit my clever lines in at the right time. I was kinda proud of myself. But I think he sensed it. I'd hoped that he didnt.
"Good one." He replied.
Yup, he sensed it. He was going to be a tough one to crack.
I had nothing left to say. I mean, I couldve answered his question and told him my name.. but then I would be giving him what he wants and he looks like he's used to getting exactly that. But not I. I will be a challenge. I turned and started walking.. he followed. I shifted my head as if I were looking out the window and saw him checking me out. I smiled to myself.
"Like the view.," I said not turning around.
"I've seen better.," he replied.
HES SEEN BETTER! What does that mean. Am I suddenley not interesting enough for "Mr. Smug"? I'll show him better.. just wait.
I'll show him better.

We arrived at my class and I stopped infront of the door slowly turning to face him.
I'd had on a gray v-neck that day with a silver cross necklace. So lets just say.. my breast were purposely popping out.
His eyes linked to mine, he never looked down... I was practically hanging out of my shirt on purpose for this dude and he didnt even look down. whatthefuck.
I grabbed my books from his hands and turned to enter the class.
"No Thank You?," he asked sharply.
"Ive seen better," I scoffed, never looking his way.
I know it made no sense.. but I had to let him know.. he wasnt wearing me down. He had no affect on me.
None at all.
To his knowledge at least.
