  • is that home recording studio?? na na..its a perfact profasional studio..lolz. 5***** stuf.

  • Thanks, bobcha.

Home project studio. Glad you like the set up. :)

  • Nice studio - But I gotta ask - On the tracks (that I assume were recorded there) was the drummer not playing to a click track? The drums are all over the place. Two options - Cut and paste good section (where he's playing in time) or get a midi drum set, and use something like BFD or Ocean Way Drums, so you can quantize the drummers performance.

Go Wings... Well, not this season so much. So, outside Detroit? Warren? I grew up in Romeo MI.

  • Hey Rootwitch,

Yeah, the drums were from a live session. Was an audition we had with a drummer. he didn't land the gig. Nice guy though.

A new video is in the works. We'll be using Superior Drummer 2.0 to avoid those pesky timing problems. /grin

Yep, Warren. Good to hear from another native. The Wings are having trouble this year. Maybe they'll get it together.

Thanks for the listen and the comment.

  • Studio Foam Helps with the acoustics in a room

  • what are the black quare pad on the wall people ? ??????? thanks in advance

  • you should really get rid of the blue pop filter on that blue bluebird mic. they dont work at stopping pop at all.

  • great full your reply........icedan.thanks..n.wish you al the best..

  • Check out my studio tour (video response). Seems a waste to let live drums go to waste, but I'm a big VST drum user myself. Can't decide which I like best, but I've got BFD2, Ocean Way, Superior2, EZ Drummer (with all the add-ons), Addictive Drums.... And probably some others. So friggin' easy for us "small room" guys to get the big room sound.

Yeah, biting my nails with the Wings this year. 6-0.... Ugh....

  • The EX-66's work very well for the price point. I'd suggest trying them out in your room first if you can. Some stores will allow you to take them home for a trial session before you make your decision.
