I once drove on Highway 50 from Ely, Nevada to Reno. Between Ely and Fallon I saw about seven cars on the highway if you don't count the short periods of time it took to drive through the handful of small towns.

I'm really enjoying these videos and the speedy approach you took. I've traveled Hwy. 50 many times and I'm now writing a blog about the Lincoln Highway in Nevada.
My plan is to take my Model T across the highway next year, but I won't be traveling quite as fast.

I'm getting car-sick watching this! UGH! Beautiful footage! Nice.

Great Video! I did this route last summer on a bicycle, and it was alot different watching it than climbing up those mountains . Everyone should see this beautiful part of the country

An amazing video. I did not know people posted these timelapse 'movies' of trips. I love that it can give you a real idea of what the drive is like. This is much better than simple photos of the area. Thank you for this entertaining, educational and beautiful photo.

I don't care what anyone says - Hwy. 50 from western Utah to Fallon NV is my absolute favorite highway in all the world. I never miss the chance to drive it.
Greetings from Austin, Texas.
Austin, Nevada looks like East Twelfths Street headed towards Webberville.
My new dentist is named Austin and is from Nevada. He does excellent crowns and his dental assistant babes are hot. Modern Austin Dentistry is cutting edge, just like Austin, Texas/Nevada.

@GeorgieWise Cutting edge like Austin, NV? I think I saw a sign there that said "Welcome to Austin, please set your clocks back 40 years" No but seriously, thumbs up for hot Dental Assistants.

Nice video and music selection.
I just did the Highway 50 route across Nevada from Lovelock/Fallon to Cedar City Utah. I had always wanted to do it. Flat out beautiful. Had lunch in Austin. Lots of snow in the mountains and more high passes/trees than I expected. I will do this route again and savor it more. I'll also stop at that Sand Mountain State Park and the Shoe Tree this time.

Thanks. I'd like to see it in the winter. I can't wait to go back there again myself.
