how to get fallout 3 to work on windows 7

this is jut a quick run through to get fallout 3 to work on windows 7
how to
bUseThreadedAI=0 cange to
bUseThreadedAI=1 then add
iNumHWThreads=2
you have it on steam then just right click on the game : properties:local content:defragment cash files. this restores any files that have been damaged files and it wont delete anything other than that i can just suggest that you need to unintsall and reinstall it

This does not work for steam. only helps you get passed the charactor profiling then you get a crash at the play pen scene.
