because needles are much more steril and with a gun there's a small chance the gun could get stuck in your ear. I've tried to the gun also, and my ear lobes are too thick. I got my eyebrow down before my ears with a needle and i just trust it more.

he clamped them with clamps for support then put the needle in. they are rings. suprisingly they hurt more than my eyebrow did, and that didn't hurt at all. tasha got hers done too.
