such a pity we don't have but one performance on video of O. Messiaen playing the Organ...

at least as far as i know...

He did not like being video-ed i think...

i would love that as well. his music is sublime and his improvisation sends chills through me every time i hear it. it literally feels like im being raised to a higher level.

Glandaz est décidément un triste individu. On le voit déjà sur son site ; cela se confirme ici : voyez comme Monsieur finit, dans un reportage consacré à Messiaen, de parler plutôt de lui-même. Et l'histoire de Widor ayant soi-disant recommandé Messiaen au curé de la Trinité ? C'est curieux qu'on n'en ait jamais entendu parler avant ; je me demande bien d'où il la tient... Si tant est qu'il la tienne de quelque part...

He also played the third Symphony of Camille Saint-Saens
