Special thanks to Jack Quinn for letting me borrow this tape! I'm transferring all of these shows to DVD for him as a favor :)

Here's a rare show from Sammy White's Brighton Bowl, featuring two great bowlers, Jack Quinn and Jeff Atkins. I'm not sure what year this is, but I can safely say it was the early 80's due to the hair styles.

This was probably one of the best matches of the decade if you ask me, mainly because it had one of the closest finishes ever, as well as high scores and lots of marks.

Here's part 1 of the match with the commercials included too. If anyone has a date of when this aired, PLEASE let me know.

Enjoy :)

  • @frankthetankboston I believe they switched to the newer theme when they switched to the Fairway.

  • @EmiOfBrie Oh, and he was on Bay State Bowling once too...but no idea who his opponent(s) was.

  • @Revs300 Tell me about it. My dad (Joe Days)'s earliest appearances were never taped by us, because we didn't get a VCR until 1985. Before that, he was on the Superbowl (forgot who he and his partner bowled against), and on this show (defeating Gary Carrington and one other before getting defeated himself)...I'd love copies of those if anyone has them.

  • @Wolfman12395 what are you referring to

  • @Revs300 the same here

  • cool stuff

  • Yes would be great if theyre are more shows with the Hustle

  • This is awesome! I remember always watching bowling with my nana if I stayed over her house on Friday nights. I didn't realize that they still used the Hustle theme in 1984! It would be great if there are more of these. If there are tapes with Rosario LeChiara, that would be really cool, too. He was quite "entertaining" to watch!
