  • I was part of the street chorus in Leonard Bernstein's Mass at the United Palace Theather on October 26, 2008. Jubilant played the lead role, and he is just mesmerizing.

  • I was blessed to hear Jubilant when he came to our city a few years back. He is truly amazing and after you hear him sing "Mary Did You Know?"- no one elses version will ever come close ! If you get the opportunity to see and hear this gifted man- do it!

  • Certainly with Maureen McGovern and Jubilant Sykes, the world gets its money worth.

    both are fantastic.

  • Demongers-That's 2011! I couldn't correct it without losing Jubilant - What a treat and discovery!!

  • @Demongers I just found him today Dec.17, 1911! What a Christmas gift!!!

  • This version of the song Mary Did You Know had a profound effect on me. What an amazing man with an amazing voice. The passion in his voice is so powerful. It gives me goose bumps EVERY time I hear and see it. Thank you so much .... Truly a gift to us all.

  • One of my favorite performances ever. His 'mary' performance is a staple for our family at Christmas every year.

  • Why did I only discover Jubilant Sykes a few hours ago at Grace Community Church's Christmas Show? Why hasn't some record producer given us Sykes with a full orchestra like this singing religious as well as American standards from the Golden Age, ala Sinatra, Bennett, and Damone? He should also record with Keith Jarrett or Chick Corea or a present day jazz accompanist, ala Jimmy Rowles or Bill Evans and a trio. With just a little guidance Jubilant Sykes could become the greatest of all time!

  • he lost weight since the mid 80's
