  • Hi Kevin. I have several rides that were that were built by your father I knew your father and mother Fran. I always used to have long conversations with them. I met you at the greenburgh train show in Monroeville Pa. I have a Ferris wheel I made from scratch that is Ho scale. I showed your parents my carnival set up on a model railroad module. Keep the good work.

  • Thank you. Fran is doing well and sharp as ever. Is there anywhere I can see your Ferris wheel or Ed's rides.

  • Thanks I try hard to make them run like the real ride.

  • Do you do your own mechanical engineering? Where do you find parts? Costs?

  • HI Rich: My father Edwin Jones and I did all the planning and engineering on all the rides. We started with mostly a variety of old machines and have now move to suppliers and household items that with a little thought can be made into things. I use a brass supplier and motor supplier now but the costs only come down in bulk. I use radio shack for most of the small electrical items like bulbs, fuse holders, fuses, capacitors, switches. Some of the smaller parts I make myself, contacts, bushings.

  • i want to be a mouse so ican ride these rides

  • I have a surplus store that I use a lot. I also use stuff from Lego and Kinex. Mostly I design and cast the parts I need for specialty parts. What are the prices you charge for your rides. You can see mine at carnivalkitmaker on U tube.

  • Nice smooth movement. Good job!
