This IS the original trank from Q's '98 album WaveTwisters. The take clip is a take from when they where filming the movie, which wasn't till '99/'00, and the movie was released in 2000. Movie was made based off of the album, and you can hear/see Q's evolution of his 90's style into his more tear-heavy, articulate 00's style.
