  • I hear you @kjay023.

I wish I was a Nairobi resident at the time. How I'd have loved to attend some of those matches and see these great athletes.

Perhaps we need to disregard FIFA, dissolve all those football governing bodies, miss Brazil world cup (due to suspension) but qualify for the 2018 games in Russia. We won't qualify for the Brazil games anyway. That's something we can live with.

  • @SonNative , i was there , growing up on the eastside of nairobi, then ending up on top of nairobi with the bestest so called, finally in diaspora, i lived it all, so yeah, mambo leonard, abas magongo playing at city stadium, good golden old days , i will never forget~ walking 2 that stadium just 2 watch em play, miss em days.

  • @suensmith , ngai u so rite, i need to find wifey soon, LOL.

  • Yes, Musa Otieno. Please go for it. Just go for the secretary General, then, in a few years, go for the Chairman's.

We need to kick out all these old gizzards who've ruined our youth.

  • @kjay023, No! I guess you are a very young man in your twenties. The greatest generation was that of the eighties of Mahmoud Abbas (Kenya's best gk) Ambrose Ayoyi Wilberforce Mulamba Josephat Murila, Dr JJ Masiga Abbas Magongo Sammy Onyango Jogoo AMbrose Ayoyi e.t.c. (It's been a while. I've forgotten some names) Of course it is not complete without mentioning the greatest coach of them all, Marshall Mulwa. Leonard Mambo commentating was the icing on the cake.
  • @kjayy023 That generation of akina Musa Otieno, Otto Max etc was just the best!!! Big up!

  • Musa Otieno, thank you for your 20 year service to our country Kenya. You were there for the country during bad times and definitely good times.
