  • What is a German boat is not like, more to the U.S. looks like, just include the class to which it is not clear

  • @dif5000 Its a type VIIC, I have updated the info

  • Is it possible to explore inside these U-boats or is it physically impossible or unethical?

  • @sweenaldo1993 As far as i know no-one died in this u-boat so it is not a war grave and i think some people have been inside

  • @lilkenny22 Yeah but look at Russia, Russia makes the most advanced stealth submarines. They are also even more quiet and sneaky killers.

  • @lilkenny22 Dont forget the HMS gotland (swedish submarine), Germans aint the only ones :P

  • @nrjelley

You're an ignorant moron! I challenge you to provide on iota of evidence to back up that idiotic statement of yours. Personally, I won't hold my breath waiting for it. You're nothing more than a contemptible imbecile who is confusing personal sectarian and racist opinion with fact. I'll tell you what is fact. Allied service personnel captured in our country were routinely hand back over the border to the British, while Germans were routinely imprisoned for the duration of the war.

  • She is suspected of hitting a mine on 12 March '45 as bow is extensively damaged, but now is felt to have hit uncharted pinnacle discovered 120 metres south of wreck known '78 Rock' (discovered in 1978 eeven though U260 found it in 1945?!). No losses to crew who rowed 4 miles ashore and interred for remainder of war - no allied activity in area on that date. I dived it many times since year 2000 doing external tour 15-20 mins each time, total dive time 45-50 mins with deco stops - quite safe

  • @gorgonzo1a No they were sank by Britain because the Irish Republicans were allowing German U-Boats to dock at Irish ports. Fact!

  • all subs near Great Britains coast were sunk by Germans because they wouldn't hand their advanced engineering over to the enemy at the end of the world wars

  • We have a sunken German U Boat that is10 miles off our shore. It is located straight out from an amusement pier. It has deck gun ammunition strewn around it . The hatches were welded closed for safety, as it is not a novice dive. I was told that a large amount of Mercury was found on board. My Uncle was on a brand new Tanker that was sunk by this group of subs -- He survived.
