My boring monotamous flight across the Atlantic from Atlanta to Heathrow has been soothed by Oasis. I even had a stewardess come up to me asking me "What is that you are listening to???" I said it was Oasis, then they played the video of it to every video screen on the plane and people in the plane were talking about it for an hour later saying how brilliant it was.

@PrentissThomas I did that on a flight coming back from a Noel gig a few months ago. I had the earphones up full blast, nodding along, humming away to myself. I didn't know I was doing it; I was just on a buzz as you would be especially if you had just met the man earlier that day....... I didn't get the same polite response as you did though :(
