  • I can probably figure out the bass line pretty close to he original, but if there were an accurate tab of the bass line it would enable me to double check that I've got it right. Not a big deal either way. You're right, too that most tabs on the internet are not very good.

  • Ha - you're welcome to use it, mistakes and all! :o) I'm hoping to record a better version with better sound and without the mistakes. Also, I will add more instruments to it (e.g. drums, bass, lead guitar). Not sure when I'll finish that version but hopefully pretty soon. Regardless, feel free to use this version. I'm honored you would even consider it!

  • If you could add a decent bass line it would be cool! The original bass line is so nice, as soon as you hear it, you know whats going on!

  • Yeah, love the bass line, as well as the percussion that sounds like the rhythm of a train or the banging of a hammer on the tracks. I am going to see if I can figure out the notes on that bass line and include it in the recording as well as the percussion. Do you know of any tabs or transcriptions of the bass line for that song on the internet?

  • Cant you figure it out by ear? I feel the tabs for DS are generally lousy if there are any, and typically only mega-hits are covered, bass-tabs I have never checked out. I bought DS-tabs from wise publications long age which I believe is the best you can lay your hands on, but they only cover an assortment of popular DS songs.

  • Yeah - I probably can figure it out pretty well by ear. If there were an accurate tab somewhere than I could verify that I got it right, but it's not crucial. I agree most tabs are not very accurate.

  • @TumblingDice66 right, the bass line isnt any rocket science, just bought a bass and it isnt hard to figure out, tho needs some work to iron out. Lets see if I can do it with my daughter, she likes it too. We like to play it on the stereo while riding car long distance.

  • @neo862 You're welcome! It is a great song. Note that on the actual recording, after the singing part ends and it goes on to an extended "outro", I think the chords would be Dm, C, F over and over. Not certain but that's my recollection. Also, not sure if I'm playing the song in the original key, but you can always change the key to match the song, or your vocal range.

  • @PaxAmor1 Thanks very much, i love this song! Thx a lot :)

  • @neo862 Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have tablature for this song. The chords I played were F, C, F, Dm, F, Dm, C, F. I just repeated that sequence over and over.

  • where can I get your tab? really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

Maybe you can submit a comment?

  • @downhill240 Thanks!

  • Keep singin' Good buddy! I think you did a good job on this.
