PocketSurfer is very nice device - small like a PDA, but is able only to browse web pages over Bluetooth enabled mobile phone (thru GPRS/EDGE or CSD data).
This will not apply in the UK because there is no contract for going over the 20hr limit and other countries have more expensive tariffs and a contract.
can this thing stream video, what kind of usage are we talking for an hour of youtube viewing, is there enough bandwidth to even use youtube. Read in the paper some guy in Canada got charged $45,000.00 for over usage and said they would settle at $6,350.00; mobile internet is crap and always will be
up to 20 gigs a month. Maybe I don't know mobile browsing well enough, but that seems small. What's the $ damage for going over your allotted limit...or do they just cut you off? It's free for a year if I understand correctly? Then what? The company seems 1/2 baked :/ And did I hear it doesn't have a browser of it's own, only an IE backend you access over your connection???
sehr gutes video very nice thx

The PocketSurfer 2 can't do video of any kind, so I doubt that the PocketSurfer 1 can.

It cost an Extra £5.99 (for the first year, and then have pay yearly charge of £40 after the first year) a month for unlimited browsing.
