lol I have that dell monitor, 17 inch right? I use a dell 19 inch 1440x900, but I might get this one soon, looks like a monster compared to that 17 inch one. But I cant decide between 1920x1080 or 1200

Awesome review man , i bought the same god damn monitor as well T_T ,i should have bought the model with out the webcam since i hardly even used it , but the webcam model was $20 more so why not ^^ .

It has those black stripes because movies are played in 16:9 aspect ratio, and you monitor has a 16:10 aspect ratio. But that monitor is awesome, as it offers great gaming resolution 1920x1200 and still can play 1080p movies.

If you dont need the speakers and webcam. Why you didnt get the one that comes with those features? it would have cost lot cheap i got mines for $269.00

Because when I got this this monitor, seven or months ago, this monitor was on sale. At that time it cost less than than what they wanted for the one you got.
