  • @106val Of course it's Cybill! She had a very active career as a cabaret singer and did several records. She was a great singer.

  • Did Cybil do her own singing?

  • Very clever, imaginative and witty episode, and that gorgeous cinematography... I think you could enjoy it even if you didn't know all the noir films it references. Had this on VHS for years. It first aired on 10/15/85 with a taped introduction by Orson Welles. Sad because he had just died 5 days earlier.

  • Love the Hayworth head-toss @ 1:04.

  • @feb67ruary No, that's when the show was still good. It was ruined when Glenn Gordon Caron for some reason had Maddie go on this train trip, meet up with this guy she didn't know & married him. Plus there was a bay involved. That was a bad plot and the beginning of the end. Also Bruce was ready to live & "Die Hard" gave him the ticket to do so.

  • I can't believe I found this video. The song's been in my head, from this episode, and I googled for the lyrics and instead I get the HD scene!! I love it. Thanks

  • Yeah this show was great til they ruined it with that stupid love triangle between Dave, Maddie and what's his name from NCIS.

  • VERY COOL ... IT CAPTURES A BYE-GONE ERA THAT US IN OUR 50'S REMEMBER THRU OUR PARENTS RELIVING THERE PAST ON THE RECORD PLAYER WITH THERE MUSIC...WELL MOSTLY DADZ RECORDS.

  • I never missed an episode of that show and this one was my FAVORITE.

  • Did this win an Emmy? It should have. I remember when I first saw it, when it was first broadcast. When it was done, I turned to my Mother. Her jaw was on the floor, as was mine. Then she gasped and I saw tears. That was her era, and I learned to appreciate it from her.
