The 6th Annual Rush-Henrietta vs. Fairport Faculty Basketball Game raised $6,500 for Pluta Cancer Center. Proceeds from the game are going towards the purchase of upgraded vital signs monitors for Pluta.
The game was played at Rush-Henrietta Senior High School, and the Rush-Henrietta faculty prevailed 45-36. Sponsored by the Rush-Henrietta and Fairport Student Councils, the game matches the faculty from both schools to have fun and raise money for Pluta Cancer Center. In past years, Pluta has been able to purchase IV administration pumps, exam room tables, and update its phone system through proceeds from the game.
Rush-Henrietta leads the all-time series 4-2. The game shifts back to Fairport next year.
