@Prinse61 Well stated. People confuse 'better' with whom they like the most. I love J.W's playing and that makes him the best for me. But there's plenty of others out there I love eqally as well.
J.V. is just not one of them. He plays good, knows his shit, but I love a 'rock' edge to my blues guitar playing.

Well... in my book Johnny Winter is the all times best blues guitar player, but i love Jimmie and Stevie too.
If i had to choose, i would say Jimmie. Not because his better, but because I happen to like his playing style more.

This man is and always will be the king of cool. I see to many people who just play like its a competition. Jimmie never has ever played to prove anything to anyone, and thats what cool is all about. You never try to out do people. many players of today in my opiniion try to be cool by proving their the best. In blues thats not what makes you good. It's leaving room to come back and play some more. Jimmie vaughan is awesome and always will be in my book!
