Ahhhh... I still remember hearing this for the first time back in 90 or 91. My pre-teen and teenage years were spent either playing or waiting for the next release of Final Fantasy. I even had all the Game Boy versions which could certainly use a re-release! 18 years later and here I am, looking forward to XIII...

@WowPanalosso It's in IX, it plays at the end of the game, after Melodies of Life ends, but before the credits end.

And if XII it plays if you let the start screen sit long enough (it's played with the pictures of many of the monsters flashing in the background)
