I think my ears are broken. They year is 2009 and labels still think that keeping free music at 64kbps is the only way to make sure people will still buy the album. It just pisses me off if anything.

animal collective most definitely still makes music! Merriweather Post Pavillion came out this January and I believe they've released another EP not too long ago

Yes, it's called Fall Be Kind. It's incredible, like a combination of their older sound (pre-Strawberry Jam) and their new sound like on MPP.
