You can see the clarity and colors are amazing under water! Just recently members of their team tested the XC Cam at depths of 47 feet, we will be posting that footage soon for you to see, the camera operated beautifully at the 47 foot mark. No underwater case is required for the Tachyon XC.  It is waterproof all on its own!

They captured 47' (14.32 meters) on video, but they did go down to 80'. A spear fisher in the UK has taken the camera to a depth of 24 meters (78') with no problems.

Yes, the 8.3 meters is the estimated limit for all of the camera's buttons to work properly. Beyond that the water pressure interferes with their operation.

But if you don't plan to mess with the buttons underwater, you can go to greater depths and keep recording video as you go.

But still, we make no promises after 8.3 meters, so you are on your own!

A) Remain calm and relax, it would of eaten you if it wanted to, or

B) Spear your mate so it eats him instead, or

C) Swim like fuck and hope he's not hungery, or

D) ALL THE ABOVE!!!!!

But hey, if you dont like sharks stay out of the water. Most of them dont worry about people. In fact most of them you can observe safely. Just dont try to touch them. OR, you can buy "Shark Sheilds", its an electric sheild that sharks dont like.
