I don't know, even if the King had this amazing hardy constitution Logos speaks of, I still think having his throat slit so wide his head nearly came off and bleeding for minutes or hours would be enough to kill him. But then again, healing magic. A wizard did it, and the counter to the wizard is a thief, thus...POISON!

If Logos gets to choose who becomes King, why doesn't he just make HIMSELF King? Wouldn't that make more sense?
