This was the very first game I played on the Playstation2 back in July 2002! Oh my god, this brings back so many memories. The ENTIRE HALF of the reason why I loved this game was because of the MUSIC! Also, I loved that the time changes from Morning, Afternoon and Evening during Village Mode, and it had interesting elements in gameplay like a thirst meter and repairing weapons before they break for good. Cool story, too! An amazing game... Go Toan! :)

Wow, still up top! =D I have to say, I was rather fond of Dark Cloud 2. It was a totally unrelated game no doubt, but the mechanics were fairly similar. As a stand-alone game, I liked it a lot! But that is just me. :)

we should petition for a dc 3. this game waaaaaaaaaaay beter than crap like ff and kingdom hearts. tbh those games are way to mind fuking to enjoy. i pretty much don't care about 70% of what goes on in those kinds of games. DC was simple but fun. u know.

@jpopdancingkeyboard actually, it had quite a few(and i mean a whole lot) of connections to dark cloud 1, all you have to do is look for em'. for instance if you remember talking to master utan, you'll realise rainbow butterfly woods is actually wise owl forest to a degree, plus a whole lot of other similarities/ hints that make me think that the two games are actually the same world, just a long time in between

@SasuSeoLuva you can have the game again.... for the price of some few mins of downloading 1.67 GB alongside dark cloud 2 (chronicles)

and if you want to play it on pc which is normally not possible download PCXS2 (ps2 emulator)

@loweydude220 yeah i know, griffon or whatever it was gave dc2 some feeling and the music but meh.. its nothing compared to Dark Cloud toan was a hero anyway and the story was so fucking good
