You tell me, Smiler. Only yourself and jeannie1renee2 have raised the possibility that there might be anything "wrong" with singing in Hebrew. If you're unable to see my comment as anything other than a huge compliment, debate is utterly pointless.

I really in love with this song. It is my favorite one and I get goose pimpels, if I hear it. You really heard, how much important it is to get rain for the harvest.

That was rather rude. It is not the most attractive dress, but she wears it well, and what is wrong with singing in hebrew? I should like to know. It is a beautiful language, and Esther certainly deserves to be numbered among the best singers- and not only of the 60's.

Merci! I only rediscovered Esther Ofarim recently through an obsucre film from 1963 which has just been released on DVD: ES WAR MIR EIN VERGNÜGEN. What a joy to find all those wonderful clips of her! Thank you so much. Sheer brilliance in every performance she gives. a truly devoted artist. The Live-performance of IN THE MORNING OF MY WIFE is breathtakingly beautiful. Do you have the whole show by chance?
