Paul Kapetanopoulos is an independent documentary filmmaker and screenwriter. Moreover, he is a psychology professor, family counselor, pro-labor historian, and a lifelong antiwar activist since the Vietnam era.
Professor Kapetanopoulos was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 7, 1945. He graduated from Boston University and received his Bachelor's degree in Enlglish, Literature and Psychology in 1964. He received his Master's degree in 1968 at the same university having studied Counseling Psychology. Up until 1974, he was enrolled in the Boston University doctoral program for counseling psychology.
In 1974, Kapetanopoulos established the independent media firm known as the People's Media. There, he created many antiwar and pro-labor documentaries. In 1976, he established another media firm, Omogenia Hellenic Productions, where he made films about Greek history and current events.
The films listed below have been created by Professor Paul Kapetanopoulos with help from his son Athanasios. Currently, Athanasios Kapetanopoulos is the president of both media firms.
