堅田の浮御堂 / Ukimi-do, Lake Biwa Winter holiday #4

from Katata station to Ukimi-do on Lake Biwa! :)
海、川、池など水好きの私。JR堅田駅で降りて琵琶湖を目指して歩きました。
「満月寺浮御堂」というのがあるというので目指しました。
浮御堂は湖上に突き出た仏堂です。
湖に浮かぶように建てられていて、琵琶湖を一望するのにいい穴場スポットでした。

Thanks to the bad weather, Lake Biwa looks gloomy enough - as gloomy as it must had been when Keiko drowned Oki's son in Kawabata's novel, "Beauty and Sadness".

The little temple looks very mysterious while you're walking arond it so respectfully. One feels that you have left there a deep secret unfold...

You're always able to create a very strong atmosphere. Don't you think that you should make such kind of video movies as "Blair Witch Project"...?
