This is the 1956 Christmas episode of the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Ozzie wants Christmas this year to be less complicated. However, his friends soon have Ozzie involved in almost more than he can handle.

This episode includes a performance by Ricky Nelson singing Merry Christmas To You.

  • this show was made in 1956--but shown 8 yrs. later at Christmas...yes i stare at ricky's face and he is so cute...and i agree this is a way that Christmas is suppose to be --everyone helping and even when they do not agree no one gets shouting angry for the usual x-mas stress. i find these shows and people as good role models. thankyou again.

  • This can't be 1956. Ricky's baby daughter is seen at the end of the episode. She was born in 1963.

  • One of the early great tv shows starring the entire Nelson Family. Ricky was a great singer and seemed to always make a song, regardless of what it was, into a love song with his slow closing eyes and his delivery of the lyrics. And the unique thing about the songs is the record was in the store the next morning. Great Christmas episode too. Families should pull together today as they did in the past as demonstrated by this heartwarming story.

  • This is the very first episode I've ever seen. When I first watched I didn't watch the whole thing ("Fruti Tuti Ice-Cream was the first FULL episode I ever watched) but I watched the end of it where he was singing. Infact, I think it was this exact video. But, any who, this is the first taste of O&H I've evr gotten. And to this day I still watch them (and on my dvds!).

  • do you ever pause a video when there's a close up of ricky's face? i've been sitting here for an hour, staring at my computer screen. lol. ♥
