Yea but you see it hurts to know that they loved someone so much before you. My boyfriend is older than me and has been in a serious relationship where I haven't. So it's hard on me to take in that he loved someone else. If he was friends with his ex I wouldn't be able to handle it. I'm sure that if I had been in a meaningful relationship before things would be different but... I feel like friendships with ex's just complicate current relationships.
