White House Disputes Carter's Racism Critique

The White House is disputing former President Carter's assertion that opposition to President Barack Obama is being fueled by racism. The AP's Julie Pace has the latest on Carter's controversial comments. (Sept. 16)

Wilson would not have yelled out "You Lie" to a white president. We all know this. Stop pretending as if you don't. Of course Obama isn't going to admit that he knows it. He doesn't want to come across as a cry baby. The reality is that there are many white Americans who are uncomfortable with the fact that the demographics of America have changed and White America's monopoly on opportunity is a thing of the past.

Carter is definitely correct in some respect, although not all the issues are just due to him being black... there's definitely some racial influences in some of the folks that disagree.

I have to agree with Carter here. Alot of crisism of Obama am racist and from racism. I criticize Obama often and enjoy the right to do so. I am not a racist and would never be a racist though. I don't care weither Obama black or white, or whatever, he do something wrong he should pay for it, do something right, praised 4 it! That's how it goes! Stil I HAVE TO AGREE WITH CARTER HERE THOUGH!
