Water found on Moon? uh oh.....LIfe?....ya think?

Chandrayaan-1, India's first lunar mission, has found evidence of large quantities of water on its surface, The Times newspaper reported on Thursday.

Data from the spacecraft also suggests water is still being formed on the moon, the British newspaper said.

"It's very satisfying," the newspaper quoted Mylswamy Annadurai, the mission's project director at the Indian Space Research Organisation in Bangalore, as saying.

The newspaper said the breakthrough would be announced by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration on Thursday.

NASA's website says it will hold a media briefing at 1440 EDT on Sept. 24 to "reveal new scientific findings about the moon" from data collected during national and international space missions.

The unmanned Indian craft was equipped with NASA's Moon Mineralogy Mapper.

lol how many times have the americans been on the moon and they "missed" the water, the indians go up and wooo on their first shot they find water! How coincidental... Wait till a country goes up there and finds the structures on the other side and disclaims it with the U.S's permission...

the Apollo moon landing mission (and other related) was nothing more than a 350million dollar scam, which entailed high-altitude earth orbit, and recreation of the moon surface here on Earth.

see, if they did get the the moon.. they would be dead.. they did not die, hence they did not go.

Not to mention the blatant evidence of false images of the Earth being made from videoing from inside the shuttle at a circular window having a small % of Earth showing in it. and, audio proclaiming the scam.

And right after this test was finished there has been a launch into space for the space station supplies around 1 per month (if not more).

Now the main question for this stepup in the number of launches for me is. Why the hurry? I have the nasa channel on my computer so I can watch a lot of things (that they will allow me to see) that most people dont get to see. The way it looked was right after the moon strike all the racers where off from the starting line.

Ah, at the time I thought this news was that they discovered a thin film of water on the surface, or slightly below the surface of the moon.
