I bought the super8 b&w version in 1977. I remember how thrilled I was to get it home and break out the projector to watch it. I called my friends over to watch it with me. I still have the star wars super 8 film but no projector any more. Good times.

Before the days of home video, movies were cut up and packaged onto 8mm film for home use. Star Wars was released in a couple of different versions on 8mm...this is select scenes from the best one that had color AND sound!
It can be found on eBay fairly easy. You'll need an 8mm projector to watch it.
