We've started working with Big Heart Kids to help produce a series of audio and video children's books... Here's the first one: "I Feel."

In 2005, the first Big Heart Kids book was written by Tessa Court, a mother who wanted to teach her toddler about how to express his feelings.

Once published, a concept was born -- to create a series of paperback books, audio books and dvd's to help young children explore the world from their view points. The ultimate goal of the series is to help young children establish self confidence by being able to express the range of experiences and feelings they encounter every day.

My wife Kelly did the VO, and I produced the additional audio that accompanies the story. For more great books for little kids, visit...

  • Sophia loved it because she wanted to watch it a couple times. She likes the drawings, music and voice. And she said she likes the "mad" and "worried" part. (But there is no worried part). I think it's great. Especially the "when I hit my sister I feel sorry"

  • You guys are the best! Thank you SO much for your feedback! :-)

  • Digging back through a hundred years of memories, I can identify with every bit of it. That means it must be right.

  • Great book, this is really nice. Very sweet.

  • The girl with black hair is soooooo cute!

  • I thought my comment didn't stick so I re-commented. :) Really, it's great! Even the expressions of the kids is great! But of course, Kelly's voice is perfect for a kids book :)

  • It's perfect for Bella's age who is just learning to explain how she feels. Next time Sophia hides, I'm sure I'll hear her say "mommy I'm feeling sneaky"

  • "Frustrated" was a word I used to use when helping them tell me how they feel. It's great for Bella's age since she is trying to figure out what words to use and feel her point has been made, and Sophia now has learned some new ones. I'm sure next time she hides behind the couch she will say "mommy, I'm feeling sneaky" :)

  • I tell Sophia to say sorry but forgot that it's a feeling and I should be using that word. Isabella just said she feels mad and laughed, but also wanted to watch it again.

  • The sound effects are great, I'm sure the kids will love them and the whole audio/video book.
