Classical violinist Giora Schmidt talks about his use of the iPad as a digital music reader and the AirTurn BT-105 as a hands-free wireless page turner in performance. Giora Schmidt used the iPad and AirTurn to give the world premiere performance of the Liszt Sonata in B minor, transcribed for solo violin by Noam Sivan, at the Ravnia Festival in Chicago.

What about finale files, or a rented orchestral part? I could see this being a brilliant solution to poor lighting situations as well.
You say it is 1.5 inches smaller than the printed sheet music, but what about a common 11x14 orhcestral part?
Thanks

The AirTurn does look great, but how do you get your sheet music into the iPad? I have a huge filing cabinet full of music, plus a ton of music already purchased in PDF format.
Which music reader app is the best, and can they use the PDFs?
