2 Stage Dust Collector

This is a home made 2 stage dust collection system. I created this for the small woodworking projects I do in my garage which doubles as my shop. We were tired of saw dust filtering into the house through the air as well as from foot traffic. The objective here is to make the bigger pieces of trash drop into the trash can and the smaller more fine dust particles continue on and into the dust bags.

Nice set up. The light inside might be a hazard though, something spinning might hit it. It could break and make a spark.

It's nice to have your kid involved but hugely distracting, especially with the music and trying to follow the wobbly camera. Great idea though. I particularly like the window and interior light idea.

Cool... but change the light bulb to a compact flourescent.... no heat... don't need a silo fire in there (spontaneous combustion).

and how did you make that remote control system for your dust collector and you should replace the duct hose the connects the blower/motor to the filter bags because it was squashed a little bit that why the filter bags where not in flating propley just was giving you a heads up on that
