2012 DISNEY WORLD MARATHON: All Along The Route

For so many runners, it is the culmination of months' - if not, a lifetime's - long training for this one particular moment: 26.2 glorious miles through the magical land of Disney World. This 2012 Disney World Marathon video recap is dedicated to all those runners who attempted their first marathon in the House of Mouse.

I'm sure you have answered this before... But what camera do you use at the Disney runs?

@jnemeth08: I have used two different cameras in the past - a portable Canon Powershot SD1300 IS and a Canon HD Vixia HFM30. The Vixia is a little more cumbersome to carry but has much greater resolution. The Powershot trades off that greater resolution for versatility.

can you tell me the names of the songs you used..ive got the big time rush song to run too but id like to know the dig deep down song and who is it sung by...looking for some inspiration while i train to do the goofy challenge in 2015

I find many of these Disney-related songs) bcause I have a 14-year-old and 8-year-old triplets that watch all these different mediums - we are a Disney family and it's nice to combine Disney music to the these Disney-related videos.

Lee!! Congratulations on your amazing though Goofy accomplishment!! I loved watching this video and all your prior ones. I met you last year at the Princess, and am in your video coming through the castle. Your videos were such an inspiration to me as I trained for my first half last year, and today, while I'm a little sad I couldn't be there again. Hey Lee,

My husband and I ran into you at the Floridian the evening after the marathon and we were celebrating our 13 year anniversary. We ran the relay....It was so awesome talking to you and to meet your family. We watched your videos from 2011 and they really inspired us for this run. We are both planning to run the full marathon in 2013, hope to see you there!
