Clip of Mr. Sutin WannaBovorn AP journalist in showing disregard and unprofessional way of questioning to the source.

This has severely destroy the reputation of AP news agency itself in hiring this person as its agent.

This man has shown his rudeness not only this incident but there were a lot more evidence could be found by the link below.

The standard of the journalist and media in Thialand is partly revealed clearly by this incident. This has been considered as normal practice or freedom from general mdeia in Thailand but in fact this is truly threathening and uncivilize.

=====================
Kanom Tom write an opened letter to AP regarding this issue. Below is the letter.

Question to AP: Have your reporter behaved ethically?***
As I was watching live news conference on the declaration of Thai parties to form government this afternoon, a question raised after I saw a Thai reporter from AP yelled out to Mr. Samak, the PPP leader.

In the press conference, Mr. Samak openly welcomed questions from the press by mentioning "...okay, it's question time, we'll answer some accordingly if the questions repeated, we'd have to excuse that we gotta leave..okay, go ahead with your questions"

Then, a female reporter asked,

"...(she claimed where she's from)...I'd like to ask about appointing new Prime Minister, is it possible (..I can't hear clearly, but seems like she asked whether Mr. Banharn Silpaasha, Chart Thai Party leader, could be the PM, instead of Mr. Samak)..."

Mr. Samak softly replied "...Ah..the question like this may not be a good conversation"...(people laughed).

He then added, "Well, I used to be asked this kind of question previously and I shot back the reporter. Many said I'm about to be the leader so I have to keep (talking) down. The question like this, once the audiences heard, they said it's not supposed to be asked, it's inappropriate to ask. Okay, next question please."

Suddenly, a male reporter, later known as AP reporter, shouted in (loudly)

"...You're forming the government, forming the Prime Minister. What are questions to be asked? You just tell us, who is going to be the new PM, that's it. Are you shame to announce that you're going be PM?. Or there's no "head"? (Thai culture is very sensitive when speaking about head).

(Mr. Samak tried to explain "no, no, it's not...")

Mr. Samak then replied "Do you know, according to the Constitution, the PM will be chosen by the members in the House, not in this room?"

The reporter insisted with loud noise "..yeah, I'm waiting to hear who is going to be PM.."

Mr. Samak "I've just told you that it's going to be chosen in the House, enough? Okay, sit down please".

(People applaused).

As I checked the ethic of journalist from this website "Society of Professional Journalists"

http://www.spj.org/ethicscode.asp

I found,

Minimize Harm

Ethical journalists treat sources, subjects and colleagues as human beings deserving of respect.

"— Show good taste. Avoid pandering to lurid curiosity."

But as I saw from the press conference today, I truly disappointed to see such unethically behavior by one of your men. He just acted as if he just got a big fight with the car driver outside. What a mad man.

However, I understand, he is a "Thai Journalist" employed by you, AP. Although I'm a Thai, the observer, the audience, but I have been disappointed by some of the local press here as they do not speak for those speechless.

But they speak for the military!!!

P.S. If I were you, AP, that man should be tested for his mindset.
