http://www.newmexicoinfocus.org - Alamogordo has long been home to two groups of retired research chimps. One group, protected by the organization "Save the Chimps" will enjoy permanent retirement. But another group of approximately 200 animals, housed at the Alamogordo Primate Facility, might see an end to its medical-test-reprieve of almost ten years. The Government wants to put those animals back into action, as they search for clues and cures to a variety of ailments. NMiF Correspondent Tracy Dingmann gets to the bottom of the battle over the animals' fate, with help from advocates and experts on the issue.
