  • I skied once, I guess that makes me a Skier

  • @ThePhantom135 OK I tried. You can think all the evil thoughts you wish then. It seems you are truly happy with your fulfilled life and you don't need or want to believe in God. That's fine, we are all entitled to our choices. But, I wash my hands of your unbelief and will no longer throw my 'pearls to swine'. Enjoy your life to the fullest and remember this on judgement day. YOU WERE WARNED! You may have the final word if you wish cuz I will no longer respond to you.

  • Everybody who doesnt believe in JESUS should watch the youtube video hell is real, i went there! jenifer perez

  • @dvrn86 I was drawing on a personal experience; without going into details, several years ago I found myself in conservative Christian "environment", not exactly by choice; I found out very quickly how to distinguish between people who saw the Bible as something to smack me with (figuratively!), and others--who were no less doctrinally uncompromising--who sincerely wanted to offer me something they believed would bring me happiness and salvation. Neither won me over, but I appreciated the latter

  • @booker1959 yeah i see what you mean. I find most of them to be like salesmen trying to sell you their "brand" . Yes there are a certain few who are genuine in their motives but i find alot of them to be insulting more than anything.

  • @dvrn86 True, which is why I used that example. But if there is a hell, going there is worse than getting hit by a car. I know how grating religious certitude can be; with the unseen infinite, some doubt is far more attractive. However, that's different from saying people shouldn't act on their beliefs; I've come to see these exhortations (spiced with hellfire) as less an assault than a sincere caution; and IF they're right, I'll be pissed if no one at least tried to warn me about the car.

  • @booker1959 I'd say it did but no-one is doubting the existence of cars.

  • @dvrn86 Well, I tried to keep my little nephew from running out into the street by scaring him with the idea of what being run over would be like. It worked.

  • Tsk tsk tsk. Religion. Sigh.

  • good way to get people to believe you. scare them with eternal hellfire.
