I made this video for all of those Ken and Em fans so as to share in my reminisence of the beautiful and talented couple, Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson. This is to celebrate the good times of Kenneth and Emma through their wonderful films.

  • They were great, individually still so, but together they really had something. Loved Fortunes Of War in particular

  • Wonderful television series, and they were such a brilliant couple.

  • I found out Emma cheated on Ken with Greg Wise because I read a few articles from '94 (and '95) about Emma and Greg being an item, around the same time as the Ken and Helena story began. I wish Ken and Em could have had a kid, but apparently Ken is infertile.

  • awesome video! i just watched "dead again" last night for the first time in like 17 years and am SO SAD they broke up!!! they were so great together in films, and it seemed like they shared a very deep love. i heard ken cheated on emma with helena bonham-carter (idiot!)...but in listening to ken give the director's commentary on "dead again" last night (he recorded it in 2006), it seems he still cares about her deeply. and she talked recently about wanting to work with him again, so who knows...

  • Oh yes, we have been having very long discussions about the Dead Again commentary! Apparently, Emma also cheated on Ken with Greg Wise around the same time. I'm sure the love is still there! They just seem too perfect NOT to be together. Glad you liked the video! :o)

  • So what was discussed re. the director's commentary on "Dead Again"?? Also, has Ken done a director's commentary on any of their other films? I just bought "Much Ado" on dvd and notice there's a "making of" featurette...is that of any interest??

  • He made a commentary for Hamlet, too. Would it be possible for you to upload the making of featurette from Much Ado? My friend put it up before, but they closed their account. I really want to see it again! As far as the Dead Again commentary goes, I was talking with a few other people about when Ken talks of how wonderful Emma looks, and something about making it "easy to fall in love again", as well as a few more things. I haven't watched it in a while.

  • Oh, miss this perfect couple so much! It's SO sad to see how they were just made for each other. However, they did left a lot of films for us to watch. Much Ado is probably my favorite one that they acted, Dead Again is the most romantic one.

  • What a marvelous couple!!! too bad too much work separated them. They are so great together as they are individually.

  • whats 2.49? thanks

  • @ilovemuchado really? I've heard another version: it was Ken who cheated Emma with HBC. She was destroyed, but then she met Greg wise and she was better.

  • @ilovemuchado Hi. i love this movie, they are so adorable together and Ken is soo handsome. do you have the commentary for dead again? can you upload it please?? :)

  • @GoHillary2008 Do you still have that Much Ado featurette? I've been looking for it like a maniac for ages. Apparently it's on the US DVD but not on the UK one.

  • I watched DA, w/comm. by Ken...I didn't think he spoke of Emma in part. glowing terms at all. He predom. gave a very straight, dry, detailed analysis of his shots, but really didn't go into any back story of the making of the film, nor offered any com'nts about the actors in particular, incl. Emma. I rememb. listening to it thinking precisely that this is one of the most "clinical" commentaries I've ever heard. Emma offers much more colorful comm. on her DVD's (Remains and Last Chance, e.g.)
