This is where Jules Naudet filmed the first plane to hit the World Trade Center on 9/11. This was filmed in April 2007

  • that little grate on the ground (00:57) is where that fire chief was checking for the gas leak.

  • I'm 99% sure it's the one. It was the only one I can remember seeing.

    Thanks for your comment,

    Chris.

  • 32 Avenue of the Americas

  • Thanks for the reply.

  • Can someone please tell me what the building is in the video which I incorrectly refer to as the AT&T building?

    Thanks in advance, Chris

  • It is eery at looking at that view and not seeing the twin towers. That view is famous for that camera angle quickly panning round to see the towers and the plane on that morning and now when you do it it there's nothing there, they're gone!!

  • @TV341 no it doesn't the place look the same

  • Hi, thanks for comment. I've just had a look on google earth and from ground zero, starting at Vesey Street, moving north up Church Street, it is 15 blocks away (about 0.7 miles).
