Chanda, I went to the Coo with Doug and just saw the notice of his passing in the USF Informer. I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband, Dick Marshall passed away from stomach cancer September 29, 1995 after a 3 year battle. I know how difficult the first year anniversaries can be. I just wanted you to know I am praying for you during this time and in the months ahead. Doug's video is a wonderful testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness.

I only knew Doug Barnett for a short time, but in that time he had a very large impact on my life. I knew from the moment that I met him that he was a special person. I am sad that I did not get the opportunity to know him better and to have him as a teacher, however I know that he fulfilled his purpose on this earth because he changed the lives of many people in a positive way. He helped to spread the word of God more than anyone that I know. He was a great man and I miss him so much.
