I wish i had your skills, im learning 3ds max at the moment it will be good to have. i also want to learn coding and scripting, how did you learn?

Scripting is much easier than coding. I learned coding during my work on the commercial project (not gamedev oriented though).

3D Max - I don't know it. Really. :) Just a few moves and that's all.

My advice - join some mod and ask for simple coding tasks - PRACTICS is all what you need. :) But, reading books also a plus. :)))
