'Nosferatu una escenita criolla' is a free parody based upon Dracula's characters, set and filmed during Salvador Allende's years in Chile. Filmed from 1971-1973 and given a soundtrack in California in 1990, is a rare surrealistic movie which pays tribute to Luis Buñuel and Ingmar Bergman, as well as to slapstick comedy.
Castellano Giron, author of the script and director of the movie, filmed Nosferatu with a crew of fellow students of cinema at the Polytechnic University of Santiago.
