One small thing I would add since this is for beginners is, "How do I make it usable for my website"? The answer is fairly obvious with the layout but just in case, goto: File>Save For Web and Devices> then choose the output format (most commonly JPEG).
I only added this because to someone unfamiliar with the layout, the common thing to do is to try and "Save" but the only options are Photoshop proprietary formats which are not usable in an html editor or browser.
So true and after I uploaded I kicked myself for not doing that. I too made that mistake and tried to "Save". I may put up an Annotation at the end of the video so people will know. Such a great point. Thank you!!!
