this is a tutorial for RockBand for Xbox 360

im not entirely sure if it works for the PS2, PS3 or Wii models

make sure you have an EL drum model.

does it matter if its on the plastic part or the foam part thats underneath it?

Its better to have it on the plastic. The plastic is mainly there to increase the sensitivity of the drum impact, and if you put the coin on the plastic, the coin will rumble as well as the plastic portion.

Works like a charm! I modded my green so far and tested it out compared to the others and the results were easily noticeable. I gotta do my red pad right now. Can't do yellow or blue yet though cuz some of the screws take a different size of a phillips screwdriver and can't take those out so I gotta go get it soon so I can't wait. I did this on my RB2 set. :) Lol my fingers hurt from prying open the red and green. I'm glad I could at least take off the rim though.

This works for ps2 drums as well! I just tried it only i put 2 nickels in bcuz a friend said that it was better that way and then tried it out. I have never been able to beat Run to the Hills, I always died at like 47% but WITH THIS MOD I CAN EASILY PASS AND 4 STAR RUN TO THE HILLS!
