I actually saw him play "Johnny 99" in Mansfield, MA with the full band. I've always loved those "Nebraska" songs played live on his "1975-1985" boxed set, but I have to admit they sound more bad assed with the band behind them

how deceptive, this is not the Tim Hardin song most people know, as Reason to Believe! Really! I think Springsteen is awesome, so was looking forward to an old favourite....very deceiving, rename it!!
