@cwillies I thought it was pretty good, although the tone of the guitar was a little too muddy.

What are your favorite amps to get your Jimi tone from? I know you're playing Jr.'s right now. I've played out of a Marshall 100w DSL, an Orange ad30 Twin Channel and a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12. I find that with my guitars (52 reissue Tele and 1998 Corona California Deluxe Strat w Vintage Noiseless)...the Hot Rod is best.

@corvettels9 are you sure?
are you using a marshall amp?

@valax300
Actually, no. Here I'm using two Fender Blues Juniors. Lately I've used the Marshall, though, trying for a better tone. Check it:

oh one more thing what is u guitar tune to is it Eb and then how to u make the the minor chord with the thumb over the top
eaglesrule89 1 year ago
I am in Eb. To make a minor chord use the ring finger to press both A and D strings, with the thumb and index covering all others two frets lower.

hi i still not grasping the octaves is your ring finger on the a string on the 11th fret and your index finger on the high e on 9th fret. im just having hard time with the octaves
eaglesrule89 1 year ago
Cool. At 3:33 I've got my thumb on the bottom E, 9th fret, my index on the high E 9th fret, and, yes, my ring hitting the *D* string, not the A, at the 11th fret, giving me the C# and two octaves, very sweet! Have fun with the tremolo bar once you get it down, and can slide it solidly...
