@0HF4WK Try Brian Eno, Wolfgang Voight's 'GAS', the band Earth's latest material ('Hibernaculum', 'Hex', 'The Bees Made Honey... ' and 'Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light 1'), try Le Fly Pan Am's stuff (Roger from LFPA was in GY!BE for a while). Though if you look for similar bands to Earth you'll probably get a lot of Doom stuff coming up like Electric Wizard, Bongripper, Weedeater, Sunn 0))). Sunn 0))) is great drone but it's very dark drone. Search for 'Why Dost Thou Hide Thyself In Clouds'

It's like a sub-genre of ambient. I'd really like to find more music like this, the closest thing I've found is "Cosair" by Boards of Canada.

has anyone else noticed the very clear image of a man in a hat if you pause the video exactly at 1:09? SO creepy! ive loved this video for years now (godspeed + abandoned industry = heaven for me), but i never noticed until tonight!!!

@newzerokarolina in faxt, you can see this man at 0:50, 2:55, 4:24 and 4:30.....it's a friend of mine. We were 3 guys during the making of the video (you can see the third guy at the very end, when the video stops). I decided to keep them on the final cut, like some ghosts presence....
