I'm guessing he didn't mean that rational people should mock the kids. I think he meant that we should mock the idiotic adults who hold to these idea's and failed to accurately educate the kids.

I gotta disagree with Dan on this one. "Mockery is very important." Abstinence only education doesn't work, but mocking "victims" is not the answer. These are kids (I was one of them) who are brainwashed into thinking their urges are wrong and that they're going to hell for them. Making fun of them isn't going to help. Plenty of anti-gay people think that mockery is the best way to stop people from being gay. Neither solution makes sense.

As a Christian, teenage boy i choose to practice chastity. i don't repress my sexual desires,I praise god for making women so beautiful that i have desires for them.

Like comprehensive sex ed is supposed to help you too when it's a hard FACT that contraceptives, condoms, and other forms of birth control aren't even fully effective for every person. Comprehensive sex ed is more prevalent in leftist places like California, New York, etc but they still have steady HIV and STD rates that aren't declining. Many women now use forms of contraceptives but we're still seeing an unwanted and rapid increase in the population. More inflation is on the way b/c of that.

A worse effect of abstinence education is that it promotes body shame, with sometimes fatal consequences from delayed diagnosis of breast cancer. My documentary describes the tragedy of how breast shame develops.

Apparently millions of women over 5 continents and many thousands of years didn't hear that speech. The practice of participating in anal sex to preserve the state of one's hymen is about as old as dirt.

i don't know what abstinence training these people took but they told us if a penis goes inside you, no matter what orophous, you are no longer a virgin. That whole 'anal isn't sex' thing is ridiculous, it preserves nothing.
